My goal in life is to never stop learning. I find beauty in color and in structure. I appreciate experiencing the use of well-crafted language. I am idealist first and a realist soon after. I enjoy culture and learning about other people’s passions, both inspire me to fight for who I am.
I love my father more than I was ever strong enough to say and I regret every moment I didn’t use to tell him know how much I need him. He may be gone but he’s continued in me. I will make him proud if it’s the last thing I do. I will maintain and strengthen his memory.
I will be attending Brown University this fall as part of the class of 2017 as well as the Program in Liberal Medical Education class of 2021. I hope to pursue a career in neuroscience. My dream is to find a neurobiological treatment for happiness.
